Performance is exactly what you get when you follow this programming. Crossfit Performance is the programming we provide to our classes each and every day. This programming provides GPP (General Physical Preparedness) making you stronger, faster, more athletic and physically prepared for life. You’ll utilize the ten general physical skills (endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy).
Our goal is to do constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity in order to increase work capacity over broad time and modal domains. In short, we want to make you fitter than you have ever been.
At CrossFit Dixie, in addition to our group classes, we offer more personalized training in a 1-on-1 setting. Personal training is a great option for anyone looking for an individualized fitness program and nutrition prescription.
The biggest advantage to choosing personal training over group classes is the individual attention you will receive. Our coaches will first sit down with you and find out what exactly it is that you are looking for in your fitness program. An important part of this consult is a brief movement screening, where our coach will assess your strengths and weaknesses regarding your movement patterns in order to gauge what training will help you most.
Every person is different in their abilities and needs. Our coaches at Crossfit Dixie will create a program that is specific to the individual to better facilitate progress and overall results. As a client starts to train and progress, their needs are ever changing. There may be times when it will be necessary to stay away from certain exercises or movements, and also times when more needs to be added to the program. Our personal training programs are specifically tailored for this.
Also a major key to seeing results is your nutrition choices between training sessions. Our coaches have helped educate hundreds of people on how and what to eat. Nutrition prescription is a key aspect to our personal training programs.
While Crossfit performance and sweat programs provide the GPP needed on an every day basis, many of us are also looking for some auxiliary lifting and movements to close the gaps on some glaring weaknesses as well as building additional strengths.
Barbell WOD addresses this need of many of our members. Barbell WODs are programmed 2-3 times per week allowing members to fit them in before or after regularly scheduled classes.
Crossfit Sweat is a new program we are offering designed around our normal daily workout that is a new addition to the gym.
This program is a lighter version of our regular Crossfit workout. Sweat is a high cardio workout. There will be less barbell movements and heavy weight and more body weight movements, kettlebells, dumbbells and high rep workouts. This program will be designed for anyone looking for something a little different than what we are offering each day with our Crossfit Performance workout.
Are you or someone you know nervous to try Crossfit? Are you afraid of the heavy weight or difficult movements? Do you deal with past injuries that would make it difficult to follow our normal programming? Then the “Sweat”program is just what your looking for. That is why we added the “Sweat” program. For anyone and everyone that wants to do a little less intense, lighter version of Crossfit.
All new members will follow our Sweat program for 2-5 weeks before they move on to Crossfit Performance or you can continue to follow the Sweat program.

At Crossfit Dixie, the bread and butter of our Corporate Training is an 8 to 12 week program specific to your business’ and employees’ needs. Think of it like boot camp for your business. 1-3 times per week, we will host our custom tailored classes with a trainer and class time dedicated specifically to your company. These camps can also involve challenges, nutrition competitions, and before/after testing to gauge each person’s progress. When it is over, your staff will be happier, healthier, more cohesive, and more productive.

Our Crossfit Teens program is for kids 12-17 yrs old. This program and class is designed to get kids moving. At Crossfit Dixie we believe fitness is an essential part to a healthy, well-balanced life and that a love for fitness can start at a young age. Fitness isn’t just for adults. In our teen program we help the youth develop a passion for physical fitness. Each day we try to create a fun, hardworking environment for the teens. The class is run by a certified professional trainer that will help the kids with form and function every time they come in. Teens in this class will learn how to preform correctly, pull-ups, push-ups, kettlebell swings, squats, presses, cleans, handstand holds, deadlifts, box jumps and many more. They will work on foot coordination and speed, they will learn the proper way to warm up and stretch.
Our teen program is for all kids looking to improve their fitness, from kids heavily involved in athletics that are looking for that competitive edge, to kids that that just need more movement and exercise in their life.
